Julie McKean is a professional dressage rider and trainer with experience training and competing through Grand Prix. She specializes in compassionate, harmonious training of ponies and horses from training level through FEI. She methodically develops horses so they develop confidence and correct musculature as they progress in their education.

Accomplishments
Julie has qualified and ridden in multiple national championships as an FEI junior, young rider, and U25 Grand Prix rider. She competed and medaled several times at the NAJYRC and qualified twice for the Brentina Cup at the USEF Dressage Festival of Champions. She holds many regional championship titles and has competed at some of the best venues in the country, in both national and CDI classes. Julie competes now as a professional at all levels. She has trained extensively with many esteemed trainers including Kathy Connelly, George Williams, Barend Heilbron, Eliza Sydnor Romm and Ruth Hogan-Poulsen.
